The 2025 NRL draw has been released. We take a look at what it means for the Dolphins NRL team and when fans can see them in action.
The Dolphins’ 2025 NRL season will begin with a blockbuster battle against South Sydney, and former Head Coach Wayne Bennett, on March 7 at Suncorp Stadium (8pm AEDT kick off).
It will be incoming Head Coach Kristian Woolf’s first game in the top job, against the man he worked alongside during the Dolphins’ first two foundation years in the NRL competition. The clash will attract plenty of attention from fans and commentators and will be Friday night footy at its finest.
The Dolphins have also locked in the prime-time Friday night slot for Magic Round, facing the Roosters at Suncorp Stadium on May 2 (8pm kick off).
The teams will play for the Artie Legacy Medal, which honours rugby league Immortal Arthur Beetson who was part of the Dolphins’ first premiership win in 1965 and went on to play for the Roosters, Queensland and Australia.
Fans will have two chances to see the Dolphins play at their spiritual home, Redcliffe’s Kayo Stadium during 2025, including the final game of the regular season.
They have nine home games at Suncorp Stadium.
