Apply now for Ausbuild community grants
Applications are now being taken for the Ausbuild Community Fund (Moreton Bay) Grant Program, with $50,000 available in the fourth round of funding.
Ausbuild Community Fund (Moreton Bay) Grant Program recognises the critical role grassroots organisations play in strengthening the community, delivering worthwhile projects, programs, and events to the Moreton Bay community.
Twenty-five community initiatives have already benefited across three rounds in the grant program formerly known as The Sanctuary Community Fund, to support, enhance and deliver community projects and initiatives.
Joint Managing Director Matthew Bell says Ausbuild is taking a proactive approach to improve outcomes for the Moreton Bay community.
“We recognise that genuine community development involves more than building houses; it requires the integration of long-term, dedicated support in initiatives and partnerships that foster meaningful and inclusive social, economic and educational opportunities,” he says.
“To date, Ausbuild has proudly provided $150,000 to diverse range of projects and services, spanning from life-saving equipment, to fostering employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities, as well as supporting local sports, schoolies, charities and many more.
“I’m looking forward to awarding $50,000 worth of funding to successful recipients in round four, and supporting further worthwhile projects, services and initiatives that leave a lasting impact on the wellbeing of Moreton Bay and its community.”
Eligible community groups, not-for-profit organisations, and charities across Moreton Bay are being urged to apply for funding from $500 up to $25,000, to purchase new equipment and uniforms, update and upgrade sporting facilities, deliver new or expanded services and programs, as well as community events, training, and workshops.
Applicants need to demonstrate how their projects contribute to the pillars of a healthy community. These include sporting and recreation, health and wellbeing, environment and sustainability, infrastructure and diversity and inclusiveness.
All applications with be assessed and awarded by the independent Review Panel, comprised of members of the community.

The grant program is just element of Ausbuild’s community development program that aims to create opportunities for the Moreton Bay community to thrive, enhance the natural environment and contribute to positive legacy-making.
