Bowl and mingle free at Strathpine
Published 4:00pm 14 May 2024
All small business and startup owners are invited to the Moreton Bay Bowl and Mingle, a free networking event.
The bowl and mingle, hosted by the Australian School of Employment (ASE), will be at Strathpine Bowl, in Strathpine Shopping Centre on Friday May 31, 3-5pm.
It will celebrate Queensland Small Business Month by giving more than 100 business owners the chance to meet with industry contacts and government representatives.
Mayor Peter Flannery will deliver the event’s opening speech before the bowling, light dinner and a chance to make new connections and explore partnerships.
“We are so proud to partner with the Queensland Government to deliver this exciting Small Business Month networking event," Taj Pabari, CEO of The ASE Group, said
“We want to flip the script of how traditional networking events have been held.”
“Small Business Owners attend so many networking events where they engage in the same conversations and perhaps a couple of drinks.
"We wanted this event to be more than just small talk, drinks or food, we want these small business owners to actually have fun while mingling and building a connection that’s beyond business talk.”
Tickets are free for local small business or startup owners, including all program participants of Self-Employment Assistance, Creating Your Future Job, and Diamond Members of SPACE.
This Regional Networker Grant event is a part of Queensland Small Business Month and run in partnership with Queensland's Department of Employment, Small Business and Training.
