Rigs of all shapes and sizes will roll into Redcliffe this weekend for Brisbane Convoy for Kids.
The 15th annual event is on Saturday, November 2.
Hundreds of trucks will begin the convoy from Larapinta about 7.30am, travelling to Redcliffe Showgrounds via the Logan Motorway, Gateway Motorway and Deagon Deviation to Oxley Ave.
Residents and motorists should expect delays as the convoy makes its way to and through Redcliffe.
Their arrival will herald the start of a family fun day featuring free amusement rides, animal nursery, charity auction and entertainment, including a fireworks display.
Aria Award-winning musician Diesel, Australian country music legend Travis Sinclair and local favourites MattLach will provide the entertainment.
For youngsters there will be child-focussed entertainers Dino Encounters.
And at the heart of it all, a magnificent display of trucks all raising money for the Hummingbird House Foundation.
Queensland’s only children’s hospice provides short stay breaks, family support, end of life care and ongoing care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
