Work has started at two locations on Anzac Ave which will open a new road and see changes at a major intersection.
City of Moreton Bay has started the final phase of a second exit from Mango Hill Village, which will link Lamington Rd to Anzac Ave.
When finished, the two-lane road will have traffic signals at the Anzac Ave intersection with Capestone Blvd - and complete Mango Hill Ring Road.
There will also be new pathways, cycle lanes and a pedestrian crossing. Weather permitting, work should be finished in April next year.
Just over a kilometre west, Transport and Main Roads has started upgrades to the intersection of Anzac Ave, Halpine Dr and Discovery Dr.
They will include new raised pedestrian crossings on Halpine Dr and Discovery Dr and a controlled left turn lane on Anzac Ave and Discovery Dr.
There will also be improvements for bike riders on all four legs of the intersections as well as a new shared path on the eastern side of Anzac Ave.
Work is expected to be completed by mid-2025.
