Thousands of residents will gather at cenotaphs and war memorials across the City of Moreton Bay this Saturday to pay their respects to veterans on Remembrance Day.
The community will have the opportunity to lay flowers and wreaths, as well as reflect on veterans' sacrifices during a minute’s silence at 11am. This is to signify when the guns fell silent on the Western Front 105 years ago on November 11, 1918.
