Loads of fun at emergency services expo

A free Emergency Services Expo at Samford in April will bring together a range of emergency and support services from the local community and beyond.
Those showcasing their work include the Queensland Police Service, Queensland Ambulance Service, SES, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, Australian Red Cross, Life Flight Australia and Scouts Queensland.
Get up close with emergency service personnel, vehicles and equipment and learn about the important work they do to keep us all safe.
Sound the sirens in a police car, learn about what it takes to be a State Emergency Service (SES) volunteer, use the fire hose on a rural fire fighting truck, practice CPR skills with QAS, and so much more!
Learn from your heroes
Meet the incredible men and women who work tirelessly to protect our communities and find out how you can get involved.
There will be plenty of fun and educational activities for all ages, including interactive displays and live demonstrations.
The event will have a full program of demonstrations running from 9am-1pm.
