Looking for a Valentine’s Day dinner location you’ll love as much as the menu?
Tempest Seafood Restaurant at Scarborough offers both with culinary delights and waterside dining creating a truly romantic evening for couples.
The team has created three menu options, each brimming with seafood delicacies, for diners on Valentine’s Day – February 14.
The Teppanyaki grill will also be open, serving its regular menu for those looking to add a touch of excitement to their romantic evening.
Tempest Seafood Restaurant Manager PJ Cockburn says he’s thrilled to bring the popular Valentine’s Day dinner back this year.
“Our set dining menu perfectly combines romance and palate, delivering a beautifully planned menu designed to impress the foodies,” PJ says.
“Located at Scarborough Boat Harbour, our waterfront dining offers a scenic backdrop and the freshest seafood sourced directly from local trawlers.
“My only tip is to get in quickly as this is always a booked-out event.”
The three-course set menu is $90 per person, the platter menu is $105 per person and the upgraded platter menu is $165 per person.
What’s on the menu?
Option 1 – three-course set menu
Entree: Prawn Thai salad, shredded apple, and coconut and sesame dressing *OR*
Moroccan chicken and cous cous salad *OR*
Pork belly and seared scallops, apple parsnip puree, and chimichurri
Main: Prawn and Chorizo linguini, napoli sauce, cherry tomato, chilli and peas *OR*
Rib fillet served with chive mash potatoes, seasonal greens with creamy garlic prawns *OR*
Oven-baked barramundi, kiphlers, greens and Beurre Blanc
Dessert: Creme caramel with fresh fruit *OR*
Apple crumble cake with custard
Option 2 – platter menu
Seafood Platter: Warm crusty bread, fresh prawns, fresh bugs, mussels, natural oysters, kilpatrick oysters, battered whiting, garlic prawns, calamari, chips, salad, fruit and sauces.
Option 3 – upgraded platter menu
This includes the seafood platter upgraded to include a lobster mornay, sea scallops and miso bug. Note: Only available as an upgrade for the Platter Menu (option 2).
