Moreton Bay City Council Christmas opening

The Christmas and New Year holidays will impact Council services. Here's a guide to what will be open - and when.
City of Moreton Bay Customer Services Centres will close at noon on Tuesday, December 24 2024, and reopen Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 8.30 am.
However, Council’s Call Centre will continue to operate, including responding to emergency matters, on 3205 0555 or 1300 477 161.

Household waste collections will continue as normal during Christmas and New Year.
City of Moreton Bay animal pound in Goodwin Rd, Dakabin, will be closed December 25.
RSPCA Dakabin, at Goodwin Rd, will be closed December 25-26 and January 1.
Redcliffe Entertainment Centre - Closed from December 22-January 16. Reopens January 17, noon-4pm.
Waste and recycling centres: All transfer stations (including Dakabin, Bunya and Caboolture) will close at noon on December 25.
Caboolture Hub Learning & Business Centre: Closed from 5pm on Friday, December 20 to 8am on Monday, January 13.
Treasure Markets: Caboolture and Dakabin Treasure Markets will be closed on Christmas Day.
Queensland State Equestrian Centre (QSEC): Closed from lunchtime on December 24, reopening January 2, 2025.
Morayfield Sport & Events Centre: Closed from 10pm December 20 to 8.30am January 2
Galleries and museums:
Bribie Island Seaside Museum - Closed December 25-26 and January 1
Caboolture Regional Art Gallery – Closed December 25-26 and January 1
Pine Rivers Art Gallery - Closed December 25-26 and January 1
Pine Rivers Heritage Museum – Closed December 25-26 and January 1
Redcliffe Art Gallery - Closed December 25-26 and January 1
Redcliffe Museum – Closed December 25-26 and January 1
Libraries:
All the City of Moreton Bay libraries will be closed on December 25-26 and January 1.
The Mobile Library will be closed on December 24-27 and January 1.

Albany Creek Leisure Centre - Closed Christmas Day (open other public holidays 10am-4pm)
Bribie Island Aquatic Leisure Centre - Closed Christmas Day (open other public holidays 10am-4pm)
Burpengary Regional Aquatic Leisure Centre - Closed Christmas Day (open other public holidays 10am-4pm)
Caboolture pool and fitness centre - Closed Christmas Day (open other public holidays 10am-4pm)
Dayboro swimming pool - Closed Christmas Day
Deception Bay Aquatic and Fitness Centre - Closed Christmas Day
Ferny Hills swimming pool - Closed Christmas Day (open other public holidays 10am-4pm)
Lawnton swimming complex - Closed Christmas Day (open other public holidays 10am-4pm)
Murrumba Downs swimming pool - Closed Christmas Day (open other public holidays 10am-4pm)
North Lakes Aquatic Centre - Closed Christmas Day (open other public holidays 10am-4pm)
Redcliffe War Memorial Pool - Closed Christmas Day (open other public holidays 10am-4pm)
Samford swimming pool - check days and times with pool
Settlement Cove lagoon - Open to the public 24 hours a day, all year round. Lifeguards operating 7am- 6pm December 25-26 and January 1.
Woodford swimming pool - Closed Christmas Day (open other public holidays 10am-4pm)
Environmental centres:
Caboolture Region Environmental Education Centre (CREEC) - Closed from 3pm December 20. Regular business hours resume January 7, 2025. Surrounding grounds will be available throughout. CREEC Nursery will be closed.
Osprey House Environment Centre - Closed from 3pm December 22. Regular business hours resume January 7. Boardwalks will be available throughout.
Kumbartcho Sanctuary - Closed from 2pm December 20. Regular business hours will resume January 7, 2025. Surrounding grounds available throughout. For Pine Rivers Community Nursery opening times, refer to Pine Rivers Community Nursery at Kumbartcho.
