Five athletes from the City of Moreton Bay have been named in Australia’s 2024 National Trampoline Squad.
Harrison Lee, a synchronised silver medallist at last year’s world titles, is in the Australian Senior Men’ Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline squads.
Bryce Edwards is in the Junior Men Trampoline; Beau Edwards, Hetherington and Stimson are all in the Junior Men Double Mini Trampoline.
They live in the suburbs of Redcliffe, North Lakes and Caboolture and are coached by Lyn Gilroy, through Redlands City Gym Sports in Chandler.
National Squad members, selected for their "potential to contribute to Australia's high-performance targets", have two training camps - the first in Sydney in April.
The entire Squad has also been invited to compete in Portugal in July and fundraising has started to support the local contingent.

Lyn Gilroy, who coached Lee, Bryce Edwards and Stimson to medals at last year’s national titles, is delighted to have five recognised at national level.
“Our plan was for them to reach certain performance standards and get in the national squad,” coach Gilroy said.
“Now they need to perform well and keep improving. All have individual plans going forward.”
Between training camps and a trip to Europe, the trampolinists will be in the State Championships at Logan in March and National Championships, on the Gold Coast in May.
Lee and Bryce Edwards have been in Australia’s trampoline squad for three years and were selected for the 2022 and 2023 World Championships.
Beau Edwards, Hetherington and Stimson are now aiming to follow the same pathway to international competitions.
