Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism is thrilled to announce the launch of nominations for the prestigious 2024 Moreton Bay Business & Innovation Awards.

Now entering its seventh year, these awards continue to be the pinnacle recognition for businesses and individuals within the City of Moreton Bay.

The Awards stand as a testament to the outstanding achievements and contributions of businesses and individuals within the City of Moreton Bay economy.

By recognising and celebrating innovation, enterprise and success over the past 12 months, the awards have grown into a vital platform for showcasing the region’s vibrant business community.

City of Moreton Bay Mayor Peter Flannery said the awards are a favourite event because they celebrate the City’s best, brightest, and most innovative businesses.

“I’m exceedingly proud of the high calibre of local business leaders who ‘put their hat in the ring’ to be recognised for the world-class excellence and leadership which City of Moreton Bay attracts and exemplifies,” Mayor Flannery said.

“This year there is a new category for ‘new business of the year’ which seeks to recognise the groundbreakers, innovators, and disruptors amongst the almost 4500 new businesses joining the rapidly growing City of Moreton Bay business community each year.”

Natassia Wheeler, CEO of Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism, emphasised the significance of the awards in providing a platform for acknowledging excellence.

"The Moreton Bay Business & Innovation Awards offer a unique opportunity for businesses and individuals to celebrate their successes,” she said.

“These awards not only recognise achievements but also provide a platform for elevating brands, gaining recognition and showcasing the remarkable work being done within our community."

"We're excited to introduce a nomination initiative, inviting members of our community to nominate outstanding businesses or individuals for the 2024 awards.

“This initiative further extends the reach of these awards and ensures deserving entities receive the recognition they deserve."

Businesses and individuals based in the City of Moreton Bay are encouraged to take part in this prestigious accolade.

With a diverse range of categories available for entry, including Accessibility & Inclusiveness Excellence, Customer Service Excellence, Entrepreneur of the Year, and more, there's an opportunity for every remarkable venture to shine.

Sam Bhojwani, director of IntegratePHYSIO - 2023 Business of the Year - says any business can succeed at the awards.

“We were not expecting to win because there were so many amazing local businesses,” Sam said.

“As a business, we are constantly trying to evolve and grow within the region.”
