Park, footpath closures for foodie festival

The organisers of this year’s Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival have announced park, carpark and footpath closures ahead of this month’s event.

The festival is a three-day celebration, from August 23-25, showcasing the region’s finest food, brewers and producers, with a program featuring cooking demonstration, chic bars, and entertainment.

Park, carpark, footpath closures

Apex Park and the footpath running through it (between Bicentennial Park and Crockatt Park, Woody Point) will be closed from Monday, August 19 to Tuesday, August 27 to ensure public safety, with a detour in place.

The following carparks will be closed from Friday, August 23 to Sunday, August 25:

  • Bicentennial Park carpark (at the end of Victoria Ave)
  • Apex Park carpark (Hornibrook Esp)
  • Part of Crockatt Park carpark (accessible via the roundabout on the corner of Lilla St and Oxley Ave) will be closed from Monday, August 19 to Tuesday, August 27. The remainder of this carpark will be closed from August 23-25.
  • Woody Point Memorial Hall carpark will be closed (for hirers’ use only) from August 22-27.

The Woody Point Boat Ramp will be closed from 6am August 23 to 6pm August 25.
