Well-known LuvaBerry Farm owners Mandy and Adrian Schultz have announced their decision to put the property up for sale after two decades in operation.
The Wamuran family farm has been a pillar in the Moreton Bay community for decades, making it a very difficult decision to make.
Mandy says it’s time for her family to experience new opportunities.
"Life is like the seasons—constantly changing and evolving. As our children have taken off on their own adventures, we feel it's time for us to take a new path and experience new opportunities. We have decided that there will be no strawberry season in 2024 for us,” Mandy says.
"We don't know what the future holds, but we believe farming has made us more resilient and we hope the new owners enjoy this beautiful space as much as we have.”
The decision to sell has made Mandy and Adrian reflect on the ways the Moreton Bay community has supported LuvaBerry Farm.
“Throughout the years, the community has been an integral part of LuvaBerry Farm's story, from the support of war on waste and the carpark parties to helping us develop our freeze-dried range of products,” Mandy says.
“Supporting us at events and visiting us to share the joys of farm life. Your support has been the basis of our journey, and for that, we are so grateful.
"We're excited to see what new beginnings unfold for us and for the farm.”
LuvaBerry Farm will continue to share updates on their social media and encourages the community to share their thoughts, memories and suggestions on the future of the farm.
