Roads closed in Moreton Bay: November 22
Words by Kylie Knight

Several roads are already closed across the City of Moreton Bay as heavy rain batters the region today.

It follows periods of heavy rain in swollen catchments in recent days, with more forecast.

The Bureau of Meteorology says there is a “high chance of showers, tending to rain near the coast this morning, becoming less likely in the late afternoon and evening, and the chance of a thunderstorm” today.

There is a medium chance of showers tomorrow, most likely in the morning and afternoon.

Moreton Bay City Council road closures

As at 2.25pm, November 22.

The Bruce Highway onramp at Griffin is also closed due to flooding.
