Take a look: The Belvedere reopens
The Belvedere Hotel has reopened after a multimillion-dollar redevelopment, revealing a fresh new look.
The hotel opened all areas to customers yesterday in a soft opening, with word quickly spreading that the popular venue was back to full capacity.
Lewis Land Group, which owns the venue, has spent more than $10 million on the renovation.
The Belvedere can now seat more than 1000 guests throughout, offering a range of dining and entertainment options.
It has revitalised indoor dining spaces with outdoor shaded terraces, a level one dining and bar area that offers breathtaking sunset views, as well as a new public bar and state-of-the-art gaming facilities.
The refreshed outdoor pavilion bar and bistro has new bathrooms, new flooring, and booth seating, ensuring comfort and style in every corner.
The fit-out is light, airy and makes the most of stunning bayside views on each level.

During the renovation, more than 200 people were employed, and The Belvedere’s core staff pool was retained and paid throughout the closure period.
In a statement, Lewis Land Group said it continues to review additional development opportunities on adjacent land, hinting at expansion in the near future.
Lewis Land Group Queensland General Manager Chris Allison says The Belvedere is an important local landmark.
“The Belvedere is not merely a venue; it's a generational favourite, deeply entwined with the community spirit and the blissful outdoor lifestyle that defines Woody Point,” Chris says.
“Our redevelopment has been meticulously planned and executed to enhance and preserve historic elements while elevating the experience for today’s patrons.”
The Belvedere has been a proud part of the community since 1901.
"The Belvedere has always been synonymous with celebration. Our new model not only allows but encourages bookings of any size at any time of the day, ensuring that we’re perpetually ready to host and toast to your special moments,” Chris says.
He says there is an expansive and dog-friendly outdoor dining space, reinforcing the venue’s commitment to being an inclusive, joyous, family-friendly destination.
“Embracing a rich history while navigating towards a vibrant future, The Belvedere intertwines the love for the outdoors, community, and genuine, hearty celebrations. As sunsets and celebrations make their grand return to this beloved establishment, the Lewis Land Group invites one and all to create new memories, share in the joy and relish in the revitalised ambiance of The Belvedere.”
