As the December and January holidays approach, the Redcliffe Peninsula offers an abundance of free or low-cost activities for the whole family to enjoy.
Here's a list of some of the most popular activities and entertainment you can find across the peninsula this summer.
December 8
Undersea Trails:
Join the Redcliffe Museum and chart a course through Redcliffe’s history by following clues and finding marine creatures. Uncover dolphins, stingrays, jellyfish and buried treasure, from 10am-3pm.

Redcliffe Christmas Twilight Markets:
Redcliffe Parade will be transformed into a Christmas wonderland from 4pm onwards. With children’s activities, live music, artisan handmade crafts, gourmet eats and an extravagant fireworks display, there’s no better time to rock the night away.

December 10
Christmas Wreath Workshop and High Tea:
Join Reid’s Place at Scarborough for a delicious vintage high tea and Christmas wreath workshop. This all-day workshop starts at 10am and finishes at 5pm, so you can spend your entire day being joyful, creative and social.

The Australian Army Band Christmas Show:
The Australian Army Band will return to Redcliffe Entertainment Centre for their final concert of 2023. Starting at 11am, the 90-minute show will offer musical excellence and plenty of Christmas cheer to go around.

Elvis: One Night in Vegas:
Starring the sensational Mark Anthony, come and relive the experience of seeing Elvis Presley live in concert at the Redcliffe Entertainment Centre from 7.30-9.30pm. All the glamour and costumes paired with The King’s greatest hits will make it a night to remember.

January 6
Redcliffe Museum Plant Swap:
Join the Redcliffe Museum on the first Saturday of every month for a community plant swap. Bring along a plant, a cutting or some seeds, from 10.30-11.30am and share tips and tricks with your fellow gardeners.

Optical Sound Workshop:
Join Ross Manning at the Redcliffe Art Gallery to learn how to turn light into sound. The workshop will allow you to tinker with electronics and attend a group jam session from 10.30am-noon.

Music in the Park Scarborough:
Don’t miss Music in the Park Scarborough on Australia Day. The event, at Scarborough Beach Park, is on from 1-6pm. There will be stage entertainment, food trucks and free activities for children.

The Beggars Sing the Seekers:
Enjoy a crystal clear Australian acoustic sound from trio band, The Beggars. Comprised of Renee Donaghey, Stuart Day and Quinton Dunne, the two-hour show is sure to blow you away with incredible vocals and musical excellence.

Celebrating Doris Day
Wild Goat Entertainment is proud to present a Doris Day special at the Redcliffe Entertainment Centre, from 11am. The show features a swinging live band and a host of Doris Day’s most popular songs.
